Garden International School has such a warm and inclusive community. The school’s cultural diversity shines through in so many events that bring families together, and the local parents have been so supportive in helping me settle in. Seeing my Year 5 daughter so happy and confident each day makes me truly grateful to be part of this community

Having experienced both EYC and Primary at GIS, I’ve seen how genuinely the teachers care for every child. What impressed me most is that the school doesn’t only focus on high achievers, but helps each student discover their own strengths. There are countless CCAs for those exploring their interests, the Dragons programme for young athletes, and orchestra and musical opportunities for those who love music. For students needing extra support, teachers and learning specialists work together to create thoughtful growth plans. As a parent, I feel truly fortunate to be part of the GIS community.

Our eldest son joined GIS five years ago, and our second son started last year. Being part of the GIS community has been a wonderful experience—not just for our children, but for us as parents as well. The school is vibrant, engaging, and welcoming. From the very first day, we felt a true sense of belonging. If you’re looking for the best for both your children and yourself, we wholeheartedly recommend GIS!

I am very satisfied with not only the quality of education but also the emphasis the school places on ensuring children grow up to be good global citizens.  My son is in Year 4 now and he enjoys going to school to learn, to play sports (a lot of it!), and partake in many extra-curricular activities.  I can see he is becoming a more well-rounded individual thanks to the teachers and faculty members at GIS!

Being part of GIS has been a positive experience for us. Isaac and Kyra have been in GIS since EYC. Isaac is now pursuing engineering at Cambridge, while Kyra explores architecture in Year 12.

We have found the GIS community to be vibrant, welcoming and active – with plenty of parent workshops, events and opportunities. GIS has a well-deserved excellent reputation for academic achievement, while also offering a comprehensive co-curricular program.

Both our children have had amazing opportunities to travel and represent the school in international sporting tournaments hosted by AIMS, FOBISIA and SEASAC. Our family has really enjoyed being part of the GIS community over the past 7 years.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with GIS and it’s so rewarding to see how well our daughters are thriving in their careers in London. My confidence in GIS’s guidance speaks volumes – our son is in great hands as he prepares to follows their footsteps

GIS has provided a solid foundation and consistently nurtures excellence and this is reflected in my children’s achievements be it in academics, sports and mental wellbeing.

GIS sets you up for the future, and my wife and I consciously chose the school to provide our children with the same exposure and develop their independent and critical thinking skills.

Our journey with GIS began in 2019 after moving from Sydney, Australia, and it has been such a welcoming place for our family. The teachers and staff are highly qualified and also incredibly warmhearted, making a big difference in our girl’s learning experience. Our kids had so many school activities to choose from and have truly enjoyed every moment.

As a parent, I’ve also felt so included, whether through parent workshops, volunteering, or just meeting other wonderful families. I never expected to make so many great friends, both for myself and my kids. GIS has given us a strong sense of belonging and made life in Malaysia so much easier. We’re truly grateful to be part of such a supportive and caring community.

I wouldn’t have gotten into Oxford or even applied, let alone gotten the scholarship, without GIS.

GIS gave me a sense of belonging through sports, friends, and support from my teachers, encouraging a healthy mentality of academic excellence and well-being. Throughout my time here, I have been surrounded by inspiring teachers and students who push you to be the best you can be.

It was through speaking with my teachers that I discovered my passion for economics, which led me to pursue my degree in economics, politics & history.

As a Drama teacher, I had the joy of working with incredible colleagues and students, and the opportunity to step into leadership roles that shaped my career.

GIS students are fully prepared to take risks and embrace opportunities to develop. Knowing that their voice will be listened to and actioned upon, our students have developed confidence in themselves and are ready to make rich contributions in school and the wider community.

This school goes way beyond what would normally be expected for an education provider by supporting not only students on the move but also parents and staff in an exceptional manner.
